يادداشت:
در پي درج ِ درآمد ِ يكصد و هفتاد و سه در اين صفحه و در پاسخ به پيامي از اين نگارنده به استاد دكتر شاپور شهبازي، امروز پاسخ ِ مهرآميزشان همراه با گزارشي از كارنامه ي دانشگاهي و پژوهشي ي استاد و نيز نامه ي "مِسا" (انجمن پژوهشهاي خاورميانگي) مبني بر اعطاي جايزه اي به ايشان، به اين دفتر رسيد كه همه را با خشنودي و سپاس در پي مي آورم.

Here are some derails concerning the Siwand Dam
It started some 10 years ago. It will be finished in 2006/7. It will be 112m. high, covering some 12 Ksq. It is about 70 Km SE of Pasargadae and will have no connection with the latter site. The monuments of Pasargadae will stand over 60 meters above the level of the Sivand Lake
I have pinpointed 121 historic site between the Dam abd Pasargadae. Of these, 22 will be submerged. They are now being excavatd and fully documented. The rest will also be excavated and documented later. I also attach my C.V. and a letter on the recent award I received. Hope to see you sometime in near futhure in Sydney
