Dear All

Indeed what Shahrooz Ash is describing in a philosophical manner is what the Zurvenites said, when they interpreted Yasna 30. They said that Zurvan watched over the struggle over Ohrmazd and Ahriman and this struggle shall come to an end finally. This idea continued from antiquity into the later periods of Zoroastrian history. Zoroastrian authors tried snuff out Zurvanism, but those committed to this philosophical outlook still inserted their idea in-between some important texts, such as the Bundahishn (see R.C. Zaehner's Zurvan: A Zoroastrian Dilemma, who collected all texts relating to them in Armenian, Middle Persian, Syriac and other languages).

Subject: [xsatra] Roommates USHTA

Yesterday I went to my friends house, they live together on the college campus in a two bedroom apartment.Their names are God And Satan. When God and Satan first met, they thought they were compatible in thought, words and deeds. So they decided to become roommates. But once they realized each other in the same environment, they noticed they are not compatible. Hence, they can not co-exist togther. It is important for God to resolve this issue soon, because it is effecting God's education and in turn it will effect his future. God always wants to study and learn more, he puts this first. If he is to achieve this, then he needs peace and order in his environment at the apartment. However, his roommate Satan is always playing loud music,he is always inviting people over and having parties. It seems that Satan never wants to study. Satan has the opposite thought when it comes to studying. God has a second issue with his roommate Satan. When Gods family, friends and girl friend are at his apartment Satan is constantly using lewd language, this makes Gods guest feel uncomfortable. Satan always choices to use bad words, while God chooses the opposite, good words. The final act which God struggles with Satan is, his Saturday night parties at the apartment. Satan's friendsdrink and smoke pot the entire night. God purchases Sandwiches every saturday morning from down town. God buys them at wholesale prices, then he takes the sandwiches to homeless people on sunday morningsand feeds the homeless. But Satan's friends eat over half of the sandwiches every saturday night, thisreduces the number of sandwiches for the homeless. Gods good act wanting to help the homeless, isalways being resisted by his roommate, Satan. God realizes that him and Satan do not agree in thoughts, words and deed. God is always trying to progresshis mind and improve himself, God chooses to do the right thing. Satan on the other hand, has become Gods antagonist, he always chooses the wrong actions and is regressive in his mind. In fact, Satan wishes the destruction of every thing which is important to God. God has realized Satan's harmful intentions. Therefore, God is left with one option, to declare his own resistance against Satan. God is forced to fight Satan to the bitter end inorder to achieve his best, and for what he believes to be right.

May the best man win
