در آستانه ی ِ فاجعه ی ِ بزرگ!


آخرين فرياد ِ تنگ ِ بُلاغی، دشت ِ پاسارگاد و آرامگاه ِ کوروش را بشنويد!


نامه ای سرگشاده به مردمان ايران و جهان


خانم ها و آقايان،
آن گونه که روزنامه های رسمی حکومت جمهوری اسلامی ايران، خبر می دهند، دولت آقای احمدی نژاد قصد دارد هفته آينده سدّ ِ سيوند را آبگيری کند. اين عمل که بی توجه به نظريات کارشناسان و اعتراض های مردمان فرهنگْ دوست درايران و در سراسر جهان انجام می شود، در آستانه سال نو ِ ايرانی، يکی از غنی ترين و با اهميّت ترين بخش هاي ميراث ِ فرهنگی و باستانی ي ِ ايرانْ زمين را نابود خواهد کرد.
از جمله مناطقی که با اين آبگيری در خطر نابودی قرار دارد، آرامگاه کوروش بزرگ است. او نخستين رهبر




سياسی جهان بوده که بر رهایی انسان ها از بردگی و آزادی آن ها در انتخاب ارزش ها، فرهنگ ها، دين ها، و انديشه ها تأکيد کرده است. نمونه ای از فرمان او، به عنوان اولين منشور و درخشان ترين کوشش انسان دوران باستان برای برقراری حقوق بشر، اکنون درموزه بريتانيا و سازمان ملل وجود دارد.




خانم ها و آقايان،
حدود دو سال پيش کميته ي بين المللی ي نجات پاسارگاد نامه ای خطاب به شما نوشت و خطر ِ جدّی اين آبگيری را به اطلاع شما رسانيد. در اين مدت اين کميته در کنار هزارها هزار مردم ايران و جهان که مشتاق حفظ گنجينه های تاريخ بشر هستند، تلاش کرده است تا از اين حادثه شوم جلوگيری کند. ما به تمام سازمان های بين المللی -- از سازمان ملل متحد تا سازمان يونسکو و سازمان های حقوق بشر که هر کدام وظيفه ای در قبال حفظ اين آثار بشری دارند -- نامه نوشتيم. امّا اكنون مي بينيم كه نداي حق طلبانه ي هزاران انسان ِ فرهنگْ دوست به گوش هيچ کسی نرفته و سازمان ميراث فرهنگی ايران با همدستی وزارت نيرو و با پشتوانه ی دولت آقای احمدی نژاد با خيال راحت، حق مُسلّم مردم ايران، يعنی ميراث چندين هزاران ساله ی مادران و پدران آن ها، را به آب خواهند بست!
خانم ها و آقايان،
اگر چه اين بازمانده های شکوهنمد تاريخ ايران، اکنون به دست مردمانی ناسپاس نسبت به فرهنگ بشری به ويرانی کشيده می شود، امّا فراموش نبايد کرد که از دست رفتن آنها تنها رنجی ويژه ی ما نيست. يعنی، اين تنها ملّت ايران نيست که ازداشتن مهمترين بخش هويّت فرهنگی خود محروم می شود بلکه اين کلّ تاريخ جهان است که گنجينه ای عظيم و درخشان تاريخی و فرهنگی را از دست خواهد داد!
خانم ها و آقايان،
اگر سلاح های هسته ای جان انسان ها را به خطر می اندازند، ويران گری های فرهنگی نيز بمب هايي هستند که انديشه و حيات معنوی انسان ها را به مخاطره می افکنند و انديشه ی ناقص و بی خبر از ارزش های فرهنگی است که دست به جنگ و ويرانی می زند. سلاح هسته ای فقط وسيله ای برای اين انديشه ی جنگ افروز دور از فرهنگ است. سکوت سازمان های مسئولی چون يونسکو، سازمان ملل و سازمان های سياسی و مدنی ديگر، در قبال اين ويران گری ها، در واقع بی اعتنايی به انفجار بمب های ويران کننده ي فرهنگ جهانی است. اين چنين بمبی در هر گوشه ی جهان که منفجر شود سمّ ِ بی فرهنگی را در سراسر جهان پراکنده خواهد کرد!
کميته بين المللی نجات آثار دشت پاسارگارد در آخرين لحظات نيز دست ياری به سوی همگان دراز کرده و از آن ها می خواهد که آخرين فرياد تنگه بُلاغی، دشت پاسارگاد و خانه و آرامگاه کوروش بزرگ را بشنوند و هر نوع تلاشی را که لازم می دانند به کار بندند

تنها آن ها که قدمی در اين راه برداشته اند، شرمسار ِ نسل آينده و تاريخ نخواهند بود.

According to the official news-agency of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the government of Mr. Ahmadinejad has decided to begin the impoundment of the Sivand Dam in the next few days, despite the fact that many experts and thousands of people from all over the world have protested against such an
.atrocious act
This means that a vast number of important archeological sites, containing mankind's most precious cultural heritages, are being flooded. Amongst the endangered sites is the mausoleum of Cyrus the Great, the author of the first declaration of Human Rights in 2500 years ago, that recognized the unconditional rights of human beings in choosing their religions, manifesting their opinions and cultural interests. ,Ladies and gentlemen
Around two years ago, The International Committee to Save Pasargad, issued an open letter addressed to you, informing you of the serious dangers that the impounding of Sivan Dam would create. Ever since, many of you, including thousands of Iranians, who are interested in the preservation of human kind's cultural treasures have tried their best to stop this catastrophe. We have written to all international organizations, including the UN, UNESCO and many other entities that have anything to do with the preservation of archeological treasures. We have repeatedly asked them to act according to their duties in this regards and intervene in a matter that should be considered as a much graver act than the destruction of Buddha's statutes in Afghanistan

Unfortunately, we now see that the legitimate wishes of thousands of people of the world have been left ignored and the Cultural Heritage Organization of IRI, in collaboration with its Ministry of Energy, and supported by the whole administration of Mr. Ahmadinejad, have carelessly embarked on the destruction of Iranian nation's cultural heritage left and preserved for them
.through thousands years of history
,Ladies and gentlemen
Although it is the glorious reminiscence of ancient Iranian history that is being destructed in the hands of a group of unappreciative and ignorant people, we have to remind you that such a loss is not confined to the people of Iran. It is the whole world and the whole humanity that is standing on the threshold of
.loosing a part of its history and cultural achievements
,Ladies and gentlemen
If nuclear bombs endanger the lives of human beings, such acts of cultural genocide are actually just other sorts of destructive weaponry that annihilate the intellectual and spiritual lives of humans. It is a mind void of any knowledge of cultural values that can embark on the destruction of lives through either wars or such destructive actions in the realm of culture. Such dangerous
.weapons can only be used by such ignorant minds
The silence of responsible organizations such as UNESCO, UN and other civil and political establishments in the face of such atrocities can, in fact, be interpreted as ignoring the threat of a nuclear showdown without acknowledging that if such cultural bombs are being exploded in any part of this planet everyone all over the world would be harmed through the spread of
.such dangerous anti-culture venom
The International Committee to Save the Pasargad, would like to plea for help
.from everyone concerned
Please listen to this last clamor of the Bolaghi Gorge and Pasargad Plains, the home of Cyrus the Great and do not deny them of any action that is humanely
.possible on your part to stop this calamity in its initiating stage
